He has managed and worked on industry based publications, and demonstrated responsibility for annual revenues of around one million dollars.

Karen has 15 years horticultural experience; she is very well respected in horticultural circles, and has worked in many areas of the industry. Her career started in retail nursery before becoming a technical adviser for Yates Australia and technical support and trainer for Yates Garden Care Franchise. She has worked as a horticultural teacher, runs her own consulting business and business network group. Karen is a selector for the Open Garden Scheme, is an author and columnist for community newspapers and more recently appears occasionally on ABC radio 702 with Simon Marnie.

He is currently Editor - Australian Fruitgrower published by industry bodies Apple & Pear Australia Ltd and Summerfruit Australia Ltd, and online content editor for a national horticulture supplies organization.

Account Manager for NSW & QLD

Warrick Chudleigh joined Hort Journal Australia as Account Manager for NSW & Qld, he has an extensive involvement in the Horticultural industry, in technical sales, marketing, Product and General Management. He started his career as a commercial vegetable and flower grower in New Zealand. Then later join Yates NZ as a horticultural representative and product manager for 10 years. Then he transferred to Yates Australia as their commercial seeds General Manager. During the 23 years with Yates his accountabilities included the full commercial product range and he was responsible for creating a separate company, Yates Vegetable Seeds. More recently he set up Apex Seeds, an international vegetable seed company, utilising his extensive product knowledge and strong international and local network of suppliers and customers.
